Sweet Charlotte!

The past week has been crazy.
I don't know where the time went, but I did manage to finish this card.

I just love Charlotte.
Her hair was a blast to color and I think if turned out pretty good.
The Dress? Not so much.
It turned into a muddy bleeding mess (if you look closely).
Practice, practice, practice.

Anyway I made this card using the sketch at
Cute Card Thursday, love those sketches!
This one just happened to also work for this weeks
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps challenge, scoopy scallops.
;) Have a Good week!

Stampotique Valentine

Ok one more Valentine, I had to play along with

I had to use one of my new stamps I got for Christmas,
love those Gift Certificates!
This is Peggy by Daniel Torrente of course!
I know I know Stampotique has many other designers
but I just can't seem to get over my Creepy People addiction.
(that's my mom's nick name for them, she too has a thing for them)
Have a great day!

Forever...

I made this fun card for my friends Birthday.
Happy Birthday Becky!

She is a Twilight fan, as am I.
I used "Love Sparkles" by Pixie Dust Studio,
You can't really tell from the picture,
but my Edward has a sparkle.
I am  loving Pixie Dust Studio's digi's they are just too cute.

I know some of you die hard Vampire fans don't like the sparkle fangless vampires
but it's really just a love story and who doesn't love a love story.
It took my friends and husband a year of prodding to convince me to read the
Twilight Series and I am really glad I did.
So if you haven't read it because it's about sparkle, fangless vampire teen love, I say give it a chance!
That's my rant about Twilight. :)
Thanks or looking!

Heartbreaker

There are so many fantastic stamp companies out there and
one that I LOVE is Bombshell Stamps.
I love the Retro and Tattoo look of these stamps, my SUPER talented Friend Cheryl Valadez introduced me to these lovely beauties. Till recently I only had one set of these stamps but now I have more so I can finally play along with their challenges. YEAH!!!

I even tried a new technique for me, paper piecing. I have been wanting to try this for awhile but just now found the right image to do it with. I paper pieced her bathing suit with that awesome polka dot paper. I love polka dots, you should see all the papers I have with polka dots.
I rarely use them though, which seems funny to me.
Anyway, I chose to use Bombshell Angel
for my card and she is a real heartbreaker!
I took a cue from Cheryl and decided to combine my card for both the Bombshell February Sketch Challenge and Color Combo Challenge on the Forum.
The color challenge was to use Red, Turquoise and Kraft.
I have been hoarding this red and turquoise paper
for about a year now and it was finally time to use it.

Here is a close up. Tell me what you think.
After the fact I wish I had used more kraft, oh well.
Thanks for looking!

I command you to be my Valentine!

I have been eye balling the ultra cute Digi Stamps at Pixie Dust Studio
and I won some FREE Digi's a couple of weeks ago. YEAH ME!
So I had to play along on the Pixie Dust Studio Challenge Blog.
This weeks theme was "Be my Valentine" using Pink/Red.

I used the Queen of Hearts, how could I not use her for a Valentine,
she is the Queen of HEARTS!
There are so many cute lines a Pixie Dust Studio, Alice, Twilight,
Gnomes and much much more.
They are really fun to color so you will be seeing more of this company from me.
Thanks for looking!

I'm a loner... a rebel...

It's time for another  Burtonesque Dolls  challenge,
and this week we are taking inspiration from a rather neglected
Tim Burton Film
The Challenge is to make a card/project based on the 'Big Adventure' theme and/or featuring Pee Wee Herman.

There are so many funny things about this movie, it's just pure fun!
I love his line about how he is a loner and a rebel.
I altered one of my Stampotique images to make my Pee Wee
and the Skull is from Bombshell stamps.
Sorry for the low tech handwriting.
HA HA!!!

Happy Birthday Valentine!

Hi! I'm here today with a B-day Valentine for another
As you may have already figured out the challenge
was to make a Valentine Birthday Card, but it was a double whammy...
Create a Valentine Birthday card with a color combo...
the color combo being Black, Pink, and Turquoise!

I used Rio Valentine from the Emo Valentine collection,
I just love that look on her face!
I also got to use my new Classic Heart Nesties
and my Tim Holtz Paper Rosette Alerations.
This card is perfect for this month as
I have a few birthday cards to make,
the first being for my 85 year old Grandma.

Yee Haw!

Howdy Partners! This here card is for The Greeting Farms
Club Anya and Friends Saturday Sketch Challenge #53

This is Cheeky Shooter and she was so much fun to color,
I am pleased how she turned out.
She almost has a Jane Russel look to her and
that's what I was going for when I colored her.
Next time I will have to do a Marilyn Monroe,
Cheeky Glamour is perfect for that!
Thanks for looking!

Get Well Soon!

It's time for another Burtonesque Dolls Challenge! This week we are keeping it very simple and asking you to make a Get Well Card, anything goes as long as it's got that Burtonesque Twist.

I used Perfect Poison by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps,
she is one of my favorite stamps.
I tried for a gothic vintage look, kinda like Sleepy Hollow.
